Postpartum Care Kit

The Postpartum Care Kit includes everything a new mom needs for natural, herbal support from head to toe during the months after birth. These products are designed for adults only, not baby. It includes our:

  • Lactation Tonic (3oz): our herbal infusion to increase the flow of breastmilk and support digestion, uterine health, and hormone balance.

  • Body Oil (4oz): for daily moisture and skin repair of the abdomen, breasts and any skin imbalances.

  • Hair & Scalp Oil (2 oz): for encouraging hair growth, decreasing hair fall and a relaxing self care ritual to decrease anxiety. 

  • Herbal Compress (2): to ease soreness, mastitis, and other motherhood aches and pains. 

Uses: To nourish and support new mothers internally and externally.

  • Lactation Tonic: To encourage the production of breastmilk, infuse daily. Plan ahead and make a whole pot to sip throughout the day and always be ready for the next feeding session.

  • Body Oil: Apply liberally after showering. May show increased results when paired with infrared or moist heat (like the herbal compress).

  • Hair & Scalp Oil: Apply the night before shampooing, usually once per week. Let sit for 4-8 hours. Wrap in cloth or sleep with a towel to protect your linens. Cleanse and condition as usual.

  • Herbal Compress: Drench completely and steam over boiling water for 15-20 minutes. Apply to areas of tension. Used for muscle pain, cramping, abdominal repair, lymphatic support, scar tissue therapy, mastitis, cold and flu symptoms, and more.

  • Body Oil Ingredients: organic fractionated coconut oil(cocos nucifera), organic virgin sesame seed oil (sesamum indicum), organic virgin mustard seed oil (brassica nigra), organic USP grade castor oil (ricinus communis)

  • Hair & Scalp Oil Ingredients: organic virgin sesame seed oil (sesamum indicum),organic cold pressed natural gooseberry (amla) oil (phyllanthus emblica), organic whole butterfly pea flower powder (clitoria ternatea) 

  • Herbal Compress Ingredients:Lemongrass (Cymbopogon),  Som Bpoi Leaf (Acacia Concinna), Tamarind leaf (Tamarindus indica), Ginger (Zingiber offinicale-Rhizoma (Singiberaceae)), Plai (Zingiber cassumunar), Galanga (Alpinia galanga), Turmeric (Curcuma), Rock Salt (halite), Kaffir Lime Leaf (Citrus hystrix), Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora)

Contraindications:

  • Lactation Tonic Contraindications: pregnancy, acute lung congestion, low digestive fire, high toxicity, not to be used in high doses where there is pitta or other inflammatory problems in the digestive system. 

  • Body Oil Contraindications: Do not use if allergic to tree nuts. Speak to your healthcare provider before using while pregnant. Do not use on mucus membranes. 

  • Hair & Scalp Oil Contraindications: None.

  • Herbal Compress Contraindications: Do not use while pregnant without a doctor’s supervision. Avoid the eyes and open wounds.
