Hair & Scalp Oil

This Ayurvedic hair tonic is a functional ritual that delivers natural support for hair loss, thinning, anxiety and dryness. Used regularly in Indian culture, hair oiling is a relaxing practice that reduces anxiety, increases volume, hair thickness and length. 

• Curious on how to use it? The best traditional practice is to detangle hair before applying. Apply the oil to your scalp and massage the roots. You can apply all the way to the ends of the hair strand if you like, or apply to the scalp and ends separately. Wrap in cloth, or sleep on a towel overnight. Wash out in the morning as usual. Repeat weekly. Don’t brush or comb after applying the Hair & Scalp Oil - oiled hair is much more delicate than dry hair.

• Amla oil is a rejuvenating adaptogen hair tonic especially good at alleviating hair loss and early graying.  It is revered in hair care products as it helps to nourish hair and moisturize the scalp. The Sanskrit name translation indicates it as an “ultimate carer and healer.”  Sesame oil is a nourishing source of calcium for the hair and helps with dry skin. 
  
  
• Butterfly Pea flower boosts hair growth as it contains a potent bioflavonoid,  anthocyanin, which increases blood flow in the scalp, strengthening hair follicles. It is considered one of nature’s most effective ingredients for promoting hair growth and darkening hair naturally. Ours  is sourced from a distributor supporting a small farm cooperative in Thailand using fair trade practices that benefit the farmer directly. Their herbs are completely free from fertilizers, pesticides, and only harvested when fully mature. 

Use: Apply liberally to the scalp. Can be used all the way to the ends of hair strands. Wash out after 4-8 hours.
