• A note on licorice: it is a small portion of this blend for its nourishing and adrenal supporting properties. Our organic licorice root is mild and does not have a very strong, sweet licorice taste. Most folks don't even notice it!

Ingredients: Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera-Radix (Solanaceae), Organic Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum-Fructus (Zingiberaceae)), Organic Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare-Fructus (Umbelliferae)), Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans-Fructus (Myristicaceae)), Organic Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra-Radix (Leguminosae))

Instructions: Use 1 tsp per 1 cup of hot water. Infuse for 3-5 minutes to enjoy hot. Steep for up to 20 minutes for increased herbal potency.  

To increase the potency of this tonic, simply add the desired amount of herbs to twice the amount of boiling water you’ll want to consume (2 cups = 1 mug, 6c = 1 pot) and boil down ~10 minutes for a decoction. Read: Infusion vs. Decoction
