Women's Cramp Tonic

For those of us that experience painful cramps before and during bleeding, this tonic is a lifesaver. What if you could say goodbye to the ibuprofen and hello to this delicious new friend – a natural remedy powerful enough to calm those cramps into oblivion. Meet our tried-and-tested solution making periods a little bit nicer with a sweet and delicious kick. 

• Spicy you say? Don’t over-steep this one - our organic ginger is powerful!
• Do sweeten with a dark sweetener of choice: brown sugar, turbinado sugar, coconut sugar, or jaggery are our favorites with this formula.
• Pro tip: Boil 6-8 cups of water with 3-4 spoonfuls of tonic until halfway gone. Result? A day’s worth of tonic you can sip throughout that worst day. 
• Please don’t drink if you’re pregnant. Avoid if you experience ulcers or have general excessive heat signs. 

Ingredients: Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum-Fructus (Zingiberaceae)), Ginger (Zingiber offinicale-Rhizoma (Singiberaceae)), Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus-Folium (Graminaceae))

Instructions: Use 1 tsp per 1 cup of hot water. Infuse for 3-5 minutes. Add turbinado or brown sugar for sweetener.

To increase the potency of this tonic, simply add the desired amount of herbs to twice the amount of boiling water you’ll want to consume (2 cups = 1 mug, 6c = 1 pot) and boil down ~10 minutes for a decoction. Add sweetener.

Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy. Avoid with ulcers and sign of general excessive heat.
